To open the document properties in SolidWorks, follow these steps:
- Open SolidWorks and the document (part, assembly, or drawing) for which you want to access the properties.
- Go to the File menu at the top left of the screen.
- Select Properties from the drop-down menu.
- or select Tools and select properties and then document properties.
Alternatively, you can use the shortcut:
- Press Ctrl + P to directly open the properties window.
This window allows you to view and edit custom properties for the document, such as author, company, material, and other metadata.
